I have been feeling so happy and anxious about my big move; I revealed at the end of my last post. Feeling a sense of extra PEP in my step if you catch my drift. Leading up to this next big decision I am making, it seems I have been reflecting the excitement through my style. Just a little more pop of color here and a little extra layering there, with just a dash of eye catching accessories… oh and a stark background of course. In this post I am wearing a pair of my newest, vintage, purple shorts. I found these shorts JUST before the winter season rolled in. So when the spring weather came in full force over here in SoCal I ran to my shorts drawer and I prepped to rock them.
As SF get’s closer and closer (3 weeks out ahh) I feel as if the city’s artistic, vibrant, and cultured vibe has been connecting with me and my style from all the way over here in LA. I know my style will evolve once I cross that bridge and start the next chapter of my life, just as I will. When I put together this look I wasn’t exactly sure how it would turn out but I was hopeful it would look great, all while I was rushing out the door to work. Anyway, I decided to put together these high-waisted purple shorts, a basic long sleeve white top, a really long vest to add some definition, and my favorite pair of strapped block heels. Oh and this vintage oversized clutch bag I found a couple years ago through the buffalo exchange purse rack. The little design details are EVERYTHING.
Well, I hope you guys are excited for the weekend to start; I am. I plan to do a brunch with two Madre’s and my best friend jam who happened to wear purple shorts the same day I did… lawd. But after brunch all the girls are coming over for a much needed and reunited girl’s night, I’m really looking forward to it.

Talk to you on Wednesday, thanks for reading!
