Happy Friday my loves! I apologize for my absent post on Wednesday :/ A few “real life” situations had gone on that took over my attention (blah, I know) BUT we have today’s post to look forward to! Anyway a few projects and collaborations have been discussed that I can’t wait to tell you guys about. As well as an exciting new adventure coming up real soon; so keep watch.
Since a lot of “new” things have been happening in my life of late (can we say spring?!), it of course has affected my mood; in a very uplifting way. It is safe to say when I feel happy; I like to express that through my style. So a few weeks ago I decided to treat myself to a little shopping trip at Tjmaxx and I splurged JUST a bit.
During my Tjmaxx shopping excursion I bought a couple of accessories to add to the pack. The deliciously, lovely Slip-on Flats that I spoke about here were one of many slip-on’s that I plan to purchase in the near future. I also bought this bag that I can’t stop rocking around town; designed by Dune London, a brand I wasn’t too familiar with before this bag purchase BUT have since become quite fond of (ch-ch-check them out!)
It was a day like any work-week day but with a sense of excitement in the air, I felt like getting creative and expressive with my look. A modern take on menswear, inspired style if you will. I paired together a black & white, striped, printed blazer, a white, sleeveless blouse with added detail along the shoulders, a pair of grey pants, & white, drop earrings with my new accessories and had an awesome day.
I just love, love, love shopping ( if it wasn’t obvious yet), but not just for all the labels and the looks & thoughts people could give me… or likes, I just truly love how each piece of clothing and accessory can have a personal connection with the wearer. I love how each piece put together can create a look and feel that can put me in such a good mood for a whole day while strutting it. Welcome to the fam babies!
I hope you all have an amazing weekend & thanks for stopping by TJOM.
Till next Wednesday,
