You know those times when you buy a garment piece online? Your mind fills up with all of the possible outcomes this one style piece will bring into your life. Thoughts can range from “this could be THE worst fit or fabric” to “omg, what if I never want to taking this off” in my case it was the latter. This ruffled black romper showed up at my door step two Wednesdays ago. I opened up the package with a fierceness I had to calm down for a minute ha.
This ruffled black romper felt really comfortable on my skin AND fit me in all the right places! The fabric felt nice too; silky like. It’s a fun little romper and easy to style up or down. I love a variety of ways to wear things because well, I am a “layered” kinda person. I am always changing so why not my style.
A wardrobe update was apparent this week. I found myself at Goodwill shopping for a school project with a couple of girlfriends and then these boots caught my eye. I thought “Hey, since I’m here why NOT shop for myself?” so thats exactly what I did. Of course I found a couple of other items too but I’ll get to that in another post. Anyway, these vintage, 80’s inspired, leather and suede boot heels gave me Daryl Hannah vibes in “Splash” and I most certainly walked out the store with them.
So when this gem of a ruffled black romper arrived, in addition to my new boot purchase; style feels flew freely. I paired the boots and romper together with another vintage item, this windbreaker jacket with colorful detailed shoulders. This gave my look some color and I was so thankful for it!
Well I hope some of you are ready for the weekend because I know I am! My cousin is visiting and I cant wait to let go of responsibility for a few days and make memories with her and our friend Ce. Any plans this weekend babes? Let me know in the comment section below, as long as any thoughts on this look 🙂
Till next time,
