So I haven’t lived in this beautiful city for about two years. Back when I was living in the dorms I didn’t really explore all there is to SF. I would have liked to see more of the sights but I wasn’t trying to play ‘tourist” at that time. Trying to blend in as best as I could, I missed a lot. However, this time around I don’t mind the tourist gig… in fact I am reveling in it.
Just last weekend I added a lil tourist attraction to my list. Gen and I headed for the Golden Gate Bridge on a surprisingly warmish Friday. Now don’t get me wrong, I have been to the bridge before but this time I walked across it. It’s not a huge deal but it was a perfect way to create my own little adventure on a Friday off.
The bridge was massive and breath taking and well, historical. It was really a blessing to see it all up close. After the “awhhh, omg” factor subsided that 4′ o Clock wind came rolling in like clockwork. So Gen and I called it quits and headed back to our place for some burrito bowls and Desperate Housewives.
It was a fun Friday. Up next is the “Palace of Fine Arts”; I guess that “tourist” bug isn’t going away any time soon.
Any plans this weekend guys? Let me know in the comment section below. Thanks for reading as always!
Till next time loves,
