How to glam up your winter weekend attire!

Last weekend I planned to have my best girls over for a “Grown-up Slumber Party”. We had planned for this much-needed event a few weeks ago and the time had finally arrived. On that Saturday morning I woke up (Lazily) and went downstairs to make some coffee.

I sat by the fire as I caught up on “The Vampire Diaries” and had some breakfast. Later, after I indulged in my long awaited “Chill Time” (my favorite time!) I got up and began to get dressed to run some last minute errands.

When I was thinking of what to wear; I thought something with a touch of glam would be nice. I looked through my closet and my drawers when I found this chambray button up top. Thinking to myself, I thought; this paired with some black jeans, black flats, and a beaded burgundy top would certainly work.

So I threw on my idea and made it into a reality. The touch of glam I added to this ensemble really changed my look from completely casual to a (hint) of chic.

I then paired this vintage Dior handbag in burgundy and a black leather, over-sized jacket to tie it all together. During this time of the year I like to be in the holiday spirit any way I can. With this winter weekend attire I strutted around last weekend, I felt the holiday spirit all around me (the weather helped too!).

This beaded, burgundy top gave my ensemble the extra glam it needed and it gave me the right pep in my step! I ran around the neighborhood and picked up a few holiday wine glasses as well as some Malbec wine and snacks for the nights festivities and I was ready for my weekend to really begin.

Any certain way you guys like to add a little glamour to your otherwise casual outfits over the weekend, let me know in the comment box below! & tell me what you think about this ensemble!

Till next time,

Shall
