It’s finally Friday loves, the day we’ve all been waiting for since last Sunday night. Well I hope you all had a productive and exciting week so far! Mine was, well interesting as it is always; I went to work (of course… blah), hung out with the fam and a few friends. Last night in particular my best cousin Kiah and her beau came over to hang with me and my brother. We got some dinner at Stonefire Grill (a must try in LA), then we headed down to the cinema to see the long awaited “Power Rangers” rebooted movie. For us 90’s kids, this movie brought us back to the simpler times, when all we needed was Tommy, Kimberly and the rest of the rangers to fight the bad guys, save Angel Grove, and make us all believe we had a power like that inside of us too. Gingham Ranger anyone?
OUTFIT DETAILS: Salvation Army Lace Top // Salvation Army Gingham Trousers (unknown designers, sorry guys!) // Franco Sarto Flats // Rebecca Minkoff Crossbody-Bag // Lindafarrow/ Prabal Gurung Sunglasses
In this post I am wearing a few vintage finds. A pair of white and purple, gingham high-waisted trousers (likee high-waisted? why not!), a semi-fitted lace, cream, floral print top, some black, patent leather flats, and my violet hued Rebecca Minkoff cross-body bag is what I ensemble.
Anyway, I loved how the whole theater united as one when a lil snippet of the Power Rangers theme song played during the movie. It was like we all understood each other and where we came from in that moment. We all were 7 again and overjoyed by the impact the character’s played in our lives. But again, can I be the purple gingham ranger? Please! Ha.
Have an awesome weekend guys and check out the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers, that seven year old inside of you will thank you 🙂
Till next time babes,
