In today’s post I am talking all about this Fuchsia “hued” situation and the POP of color it gave my jean jacket and pencil skirt ensemble. As well as a little life update report!
I have been yearning to wear this vintage fuchsia jean jacket for quite some time now guys. It has been set up in my closet for a couple of months and up until now I hadn’t come up with anything to wear it with, or tried for that matter (blah). But last Saturday afternoon an idea just hit me.
While I was waiting for Sean (the S/O) to come over for our study date; I put together this outfit like pieces to a puzzle. Paired together is a grey wool skirt, a black crop-top, black boot heels, a multicolored handbag and the effervescent fuchsia jean jacket. All having their own extra detailing, making this outfit ultimately come to life.
I dragged my brother along with me to different spots that spoke to me… with attitude I might add (ugh) but he pulled off some great shots so I thank him. Taking some inspiration from style bloggers I admire like, gal meets glam and this time tomorrow on how to shoot more interesting pics (angles, lighting, & poses); I would say this was a successful shoot.
Now fall in LA is a little tricky when it comes to putting an outfit together. All you want to do is wear warmer clothing and layer up like there is no tomorrow BUT this is SOCAL and up until the end of November that is just not a possibility. So I try to mix it up.
Speaking of fall, I am SO excited for the holiday season! If you guys are like me, you’ve probably already started to think about your Thanksgiving activities as well as have started to play a little holiday cheer. I am a total holiday person… with a side of crazy–ha, and I just can’t wait to hang with the fam, laugh, eat, and be merry.
The fam time will commence this upcoming weekend. My little bro’s turning 18 (my baby!) and we’re having our annual BIG year birthday celebration for him. All of the family is coming over to my house for an awesome party and I am really looking forward to it. My S/O is also coming to this shindig and it will be the first time he meets my whole family so my energies are high, wish us luck!
I’ll certainly keep you guys updated on how things go. Have a great weekend babes!
