“Woo!” for Friday. My first workweek in SF is coming to an end and I am welcoming the weekend with open arms. This post will play as a Flashback Friday. In which this brings me to “Friday, a Denim jacket, & the Mission district“. Just a week ago today Gen and I were JUST settling into our new lives out here in the city of San Francisco. Last Friday was our first real day being able to enjoy this city. We woke up at a decent hour and worked out in the cutest park we have ever seen (a must to visit).
After what we classified as a grueling yet breath-taking workout we realized it was about that time to get some breakfast. So we headed over to Glen Park’s Higher Grounds Coffee House. This coffee house was SO cute; surrounding us with a warm-hearted staff and Frank Sinatra tunes playing in the background. After we finished our bagel and lox, veggie plate, and iced coffee’s we headed back to our bnb to get dressed and ready for the day.
It was time to really showcase our style and try out different versions of us in this new city realm of ours. The day was a surprisingly hot one last Friday so it was safe to say skin would be shown. I put on this all black loose romper with added hem detailing. Pairing the romper with black sandals, a pink cross-body bag, and the newest addition to my wardrobe fam; an oversized black denim jacket with turquoise embellishments and silver studs.
Taking out my plum-velour lipstick, white-framed sunnies, and mid-sized hoop earrings, I was ready for a day around my city. Gen and I headed straight for Dolores-Park, after we picked up a nice bottle of wine of course. We hung-out with all the other locals and even ran into an old friend. It was a day worth remembering so here I am re-telling the little story.
Any plans this weekend loves? Let me know in the comment section below!
Enjoy the long weekend and Happy Memorial Day.
