Farewell LA: Part Two

Its Friday, Friday… I’ve been waiting on Fridayyy (in singing tone, ha). I am so ready for the weekend guys. I’ve been living in the city of San Francisco for a couple of days now and I’ve just been busy non-stop. Gen and I have been going around place to place for her job interviews (wish her luck!) as well as apartment hunting (lawd). Anyway, I want to welcome you back to my “Farewell LA: Part Two” installment!

I am waving my hand goodbye to the city of Angels. A city I have given 25 years of my life to. As I wrote about in my previous post, LA played a big part in assisting me in my growth. From a child and into the woman you see today, I am a confident, happy, wise dreamer. In living in LA I have been robbed (interesting story), lost some friends and family, been broken up with and broken up with someone. Losing that special v-card (another interesting story ha), graduated all 12 years of schooling, tried my hand at different cliques, and have cried, cried, cried trying to figure life out.

Also, I have gained a lot of friends, grown closer to family members, learned to drive, and have worked at SO many places. I have met new and amazing people, lived with one of my favorite grandma’s (eating champagne and caviar), lost that special v-card (and enjoyed the benefits), felt love, fought my inner demons, started this blog and have put more focus into my future. LA has led me to feel a kind of self- love I have not felt within my self in a very long time.

EVERYTHING that I have gone through while living in Los Angeles has brought me here. Here, sitting in my bnb in the city of San Francisco, waiting to start my new job on Monday. As well as move into my first apartment with my best friend, Monday night and start up school again in about a month. LA brought me to this place in my life where I feel like anything is possible and I have the means and the gaul to make shit happen!
