Denim, Black, Mom Jeans and the City

Happy hump day loves! This is my first morning actually being able to sleep in since I started back at work. I started my new job at Marilyn Jaeger Skincare on Monday as their salon coordinator. So far I am really digging the place. It has a very Zen and personable vibe to it, as if you’re stepping into a good friends home. However, since I have to wear ALL black to work everyday, after work yesterday I thought to dress up/ funk up my attire. Having to be professionally dressed in all black during work, leaves me with time to think of another ensemble to rock after my shift ends. This is where my denim, black, mom jeans come in.

Once I left work yesterday I headed to the new apartment. Did I mention gen and I finally landed on a place to live?? Well the god’s must of been watching over us because we found one. She and I have been settling in nicely, just setting up the decor and what not. I’ll be sure to show you guys how it all turns out in a later post! Anyway, once I got home gen and I were starving so we thought it best to head to our neighborhood coffee shop. I took off my work attire and traded it in for my newest pair of vintage denim, black, mom jeans I got from goodwill LA before I left.

I paired these mom jeans with a color blocking black and royal blue V-neck sweater. Accessorizing the ensemble with a pair of black, suede, booties, vintage leather and suede black jacket and my Dune London day bag. As gen and I walked to La Promenade Cafe for dinner, we passed by the cutest stark pink house. It was right there and then that we got into photo-shoot mode and she captured all of the right moments.

I’ll talk to you lot on Friday, enjoy this week to the fullest.

Till next time,
