“This is a story about a girl named”… And 10 points goes to anyone else who can finish that line (lucky), ha. Well, this is a little story; but a floral dress one. A couple of weekends ago, I gathered a few of my best girlfriends and my mother around to spend the Saturday together. We all ate a hotdog’s & beer kinda lunch at a spot I haven’t yet tried called Dog Haus (a MUST try btw), we went thrifting at our favorite vintage haunts, & pretty much just gabbed about our lives throughout.
The girls and I talked about what we’ve all been going through in our lives, topics such as health, financials, accomplishments, obstacles, & our dreams. We settled on a “just be positive” solution. It was nice; being able to catch up and relate to one another, to be there for each other.
All in all, life lessons were exchanged somehow and new knowledge was stored. Of course this all happened in my vintage floral dress attire, what a charm that one is. I purchased this floral dress number a few weekends back at the thrift (my favorite one, you know what it is!), along with a few other treasures but we’ll get to that.
This dress will surely get a lot of ware out of it leading towards the warmer months, what with its silk/cotton blend fabric, flowy silhouette, crochet neckline detailing, & bright floral prints. It’s such a comfortable piece of clothing and I love that I can dress this up for daytime ware as well as down for some warm nighttime fun. I paired this floral dress with a pair of espadrille wedges, a pink cross-body bag, white framed sunnies, & a Revlon Plum Velour lipstick that I can’t get enough of (claps).
OUTFIT DETAILS: Salvation Army Dress (Justice is the designer… guess I’m pretty small) // Tjmaxx Espadrilles (Pima2 from Spain is the designer) // Nine West Cross-Body Bag // Super Sunglasses // Revlon Lipstick
