A blue blouse, the eclipse & the city

A blue blouse, the eclipse & the city! Happy Monday loves; I hope you all are doing well today. I’m SO happy it’s Monday today not because it’s Monday particularly but because today is the Solar Eclipse. Monday’s can usually be “drag-worthy” and hard to deal with because you keep looking back at those past two days of freedom. But today on this Monday the universe has granted all of us with a solar eclipse. This is something I have never seen myself so I am really looking forward to it.

Later, I plan to get some cool shades and look up at the sky to see what this universe can really do! Until then I’ll be rocking this new blue blouse around the city. Just shipped from amazon a week back and I couldn’t be happier with the results. When I picked this blouse out it seemed to be A LOT darker via online, kind of navy. I thought to myself “well navy’s cool.” so I checked it out of my cart.

Once I saw this blouse in person and saw how vibrant this blue really was I was SO unbelievably excited to ware it. I just love a vibrant color surrounded by natural/ darker ones, you know that POP to your look. Well anyway, I put together an outfit in my dream the night before (like I do) and the next day I grabbed Dawn Elizabeth to go shoot in the Mission district.

OUTFIT DETAILS: Clothink Blue Top// Guess Boots// Salvation Army Vintage Skirt// Ann Taylor Blazer//

Nine West cross-body bag

blue blouse, ensemble, chiffon material

After work I ubered to Dawn in downtown SF. I changed from my all black work clothes to this little ensemble and we headed for the Mission. We found the best backdrops and immediately started taking pictures. Check out my review on this top here.

Any big plans for the eclipse today guys? Let me know in the comment section below, I’d love to hear all about them!

Till next time,
