Good Morning lovelies! I hope you all had a relaxing and maybe even life changing weekend. My weekend was nice. I wouldn’t say TOO life changing this time around but I definitely learned things I didn’t know about last week. Speaking of, “not knowing” or “not having” in my case; is this lovely vintage cream coat I’m wearing here. My newest vintage find and I couldn’t be happier with the purchase.
I was feeling yet another urge to go shopping and add something new to my wardrobe. My mom and I were due on some bonding time, so I grabbed her and we headed out to one of my favorite vintage shops (you all know what it is by now I’m sure!) The Salvation Army.
Usually on certain Saturdays the salvation will have $2 storewide sales… yes $2.00 SALES!! BUT the particular Saturday my mom and I shopped we didn’t get to indulge in such a sale. However, we did come on a day where everything was 25% off and that worked out juust fine. As soon as we walked into the store I laid my eyes on this lovely vintage cream coat.
The coat was in such impeccable shape. The cream color wasn’t tarnished, the gold buttons still shined for attention, and the fabric was so soft to the touch; it made me not want to take it off in the dressing room. I said to myself “this beaut is coming home with ME!”.
I am also wearing this new dress piece. Just received in the mail a few days prior to the coat purchase, I thought it would be a cute ensemble to wear this multi-color, print dress over a pair of high-waisted maroon Levi’s. I got the “Clothink Women Multicolor Tribal Print Tassel Tie Button Front Split Dress”, which you can find here. The size I chose was just a little tighter on me than expected but I knew I could make it work. I wore it as an open-front dress and jazzed up my bottom half just a little bit more.
Let’s get IT this week babes and continue growing on this journey. Let me know what you think of this post in the comment section below.
Till next time loves,
